Description
XR Boots offer a unique solution. They consist of motor driven platforms worn on each foot and are designed to operate completely independently of any PC/game with the rearwards motion being activated purely by the act of walking. They allow you to walk on the spot in any direction providing a natural way to move around in the VR world separate to any game you are playing. With adjustable straps and with a weight limit of up to 100kg they can accommodate most users.
XR Boots – 2.3kg each. It sounds a lot, but you really don’t notice it when you are walking. It is recommended you wear lightweight footwear when using them. They will accommodate most shoe sizes.
To power the XR Boots, there is a back pack supplied weighing only 2kg including a rechargeable Lithium battery and control unit. On the straps of the back pack, there is an on/off switch and a speed controller to match the speed of the boots to the user’s natural walking speed. There are also power and control cables going to each boot.
